How To Write Articles and Use Article Marketing To Generate Sign Ups!

March 7, 2010
Internet article marketing strategy is an important aspect of advertising your website and improving your traffic and sales. However, before you can use this as an effective online advertising technique, you first have to learn how to write articles in such a way that your readers will feel compelled to visit your website.

There are ways of achieving this, although it takes time to learn unless you have a good teacher. Nevertheless, by applying a few simple fundamental rules to your article writing, you can improve your internet article marketing strategy significantly and thereby also improve your website traffic.

Here are a few tips on how to achieve this, and the first is to break your article down into its component parts. Let's discuss that by means of an example. How about an article on weight loss? We shall assume here that your article is intended for distribution to article directories, since that is the basis of article marketing, and that is the subject of this article.

There are six parts to an article, believe or not, and we shall discuss each of these here - some in more depth than others. We shall also make some assumptions, such as that you have carried out your keyword research and are using the best keywords for the topic of your article (weight loss). Here are the six parts, and a brief discussion of each:

1. The Title

The title is the initial magnet. It is what will attract visitors to read your article, and so must offer an answer to their problem: most people read articles to get information, and most of that is to have a problem resolved. So, in terms of weight loss, that might be 'Easy Weight Loss Solutions' or 'How to Lose Weight Easily'. However, we shall use:

"Feel a bit Chubby? Here's How to Lose Weight Free - Weight Loss at no Cost"

That lets the reader know that they can lose weight, and that they can do so free. How does that help you? It gets visitors to your landing page, and after that it is up to you. Yes, you are promoting a free means of losing weight, but once you have visitors to your website you can collect their email addresses, make them special offers and sell related products.

The biggest problem most have is to get traffic, and once you have it you can use it. If your title and your article achieve that, then they have done their job. Use your main keyword in the title, and also a secondary keyword.

In this case: 'How to lose weight' and 'lose weight free'. Also, 'Weight loss' as an addition keyword that can you some extra traffic.

2. The Opening Paragraph

Your reads will either continue reading or click away according to your opening paragraph. This is the next most important part of your article writing. Perhaps something like:

"People have different reasons for wanting to learn how to lose weigh free. Getting married soon? Going on a beach vacation? Or do just feel a bit chubby? Has that dress size just shot up a couple of notches? How about some good weight loss at no cost? No special supplements and no special equipment? No eBooks or expensive gyms to pay for?"

Note that all keywords/phrases have been used once more in the opening paragraph. It also looks a bit like a sales page, but is actually the opening paragraph of an article. Anybody learning how to write articles should understand that your article should provide good solid information, but hint at the offer of a solution to a problem. The opening paragraph offers critical support to the title.

3. The Article Body

The title and first paragraph might catch the attention, and then you have the rest of the article to explain how it is possible. Thus, eat fewer calories and exercise more: replace simple with complex carbohydrates of lower calorie content, eat fresh fruit rather than cookies, walk that half mile to school and not drive, and so on. The article body should expand on the title and opening paragraph but not give the entire answer. The special 'secret'!

4. The Final Paragraph

The final paragraph should lead into the resource: that is where you provide your website URL and offer to provide further details on how to achieve the promise of the title. This is a critical part of internet article marketing strategy, and any information on how to write articles should explain how to construct your resource.

Thus, for the final paragraph, include something along the lines of: "So if you have a wedding coming up, will be spending some time on the beach or even want to drop a few dress sizes, you will find a lot more information on how to lose weight free online, and although it is important to keep that energy balance equation in mind, there is more to it than just that. Weight loss cannot be bought, but it can be earned if you know how."

You have opened a door in their mind that more information can help them to lose weight without it costing them money.

5. The Resource

Many writers use their resource as a biography, although most readers don't really care about your age, your family and your school. They want to know how to lose weight free! Your final paragraph has opened the door slightly, so pull it wide open with something such as:

"To open that door to free weight loss, check out (your web page URL), where you will find how to lose weight free at no cost to you."

6. The Summary

Many directories provide a summary of your article below your title: make sure that is an extension of the title, or even a mini-version of the opening paragraph. For example:

"If you know how to lose weight free, and can achieve weight loss at no cost at will, then no future date or event will worry you because you will be able to control your weight as you want to without breaking the bank to do so."

That is basically it. These are the basic principles of how to write articles, and use your internet article marketing strategy to promote your website. Perhaps not perfectly presented, but you get the idea, and that is the objective of writing articles.

The Value Of Team Work In A Business

March 7, 2010
The Value Of Team Work In Business

Mohamed Fazal

As cliched the statement – `united we stand, divided we fall’ may be, it is the secret behind every success story. The importance of teamwork gets doubly highlighted in the realm of businesses. Delving deeper into the issue of teamwork we see that irrespective of the size of a particular business venture, teamwork among the partners, staff or employees, as may be the case, is of immense importance. Even if it is a small scale business with a modest start up, constructing professional relationships and working together as a team, goes a long way in achieving dynamism and success.

A one man army entrepreneurship is sure to betray a business at some point or the other. Most successful businesses get help and support both from those within and outside the peripheries of the venture. The owner of a business venture must highlight the importance of teamwork by blending it with the company’s culture and business methods. Effective networking and working together with other business leaders is a fool proof method of successfully promoting a small scale enterprise.

Incorporation of Teamwork in your Business:

Teamwork involves the combined efforts of two or more people contributing different skills but sharing the same view point and working towards common aims and goals. Employees of the business must be made aware of the goals set for the enterprise and must work in such a way that catapults the business closer towards meeting these aims and targets. Mutually beneficial interactions and networking with other small business owners can be the perfect antidote to a future of long term struggle.

It is very crucial to incorporate and blend teamwork into one’s business culture and working methods. Teamwork incorporates mutual respect for each other’s opinions and capabilities, injects a sense of ownership and thus accountability within the employees and allows for honest communication and discussion about the issues dealt by the company.

Importance of Networking:

Building up a strong base of contacts, that can pitch in and help solving a problem at hand is what networking is all about. Being offered sound advice for problems within the purview of the contacts expertise or beneficial referrals being recommended by them can take your business a long way. Exploiting the benefits of networking will lead to the creation of an ever growing stream of contacts and referrals, building up a strong networking community in the process. This group of business owners work together in a symbiotic manner which results in mutual benefit.

Importance of Teamwork in the Marketing World:

One mutually beneficial activity that has gone completely unnoticed over the years is the concept of co-marketing. Co-marketing opens up numerous marketing opportunities making it a highly beneficial game plan. Pulling it off however requires high creative and organizational skills, but be rest assured that once it hits the mark, your business will well be on its way to the `seat of success’. Co-marketing involves sharing of customers by tagging up with other businesses that target the same market, in a complimentary manner though instead of a substitutable manner. This establishes a strong referral and mutually beneficial relationship between two ventures.

Teamwork thus seems to be the key ingredient in the recipe of a successful enterprise, be it small or large. Mutually beneficial activities like networking and co-marketing are what you should include in your game plan, if you want your business to be catapulted to success!

How to Get An Awesome 6 Pack Abs

March 7, 2010

Now Anyone Can Have Great Abs

Anyone who has just started working out or even those who have been doing it for a while have always asked how to get a six pack. Unfortunately there is no definite answer to this question. No 2 people can achieve the same six packs at the same time. The human body is just made that way; we are all different and have different metabolisms. Some may be able to gain a six pack very fast while others may take a very long period. For someone to gain an idea of how to get a six pack they must first evaluate themselves and their exercise routine.

Men are generally made up in a way that they can gained and lose fats in their body much easier than women. Women are made up to collect more fats especially in the wise and stomach area. This however is not for all women but the majority. First step for you to take is to examine all the factors of your body and determine which group you fall into. There are basically 3 major groups of people that you may fall into:

a) Ectomorph- these people are skinny and boney. They can easily lose weight and rarely gain weight but find it hard to build muscle.

b) Endomorph- these are big boned people who are naturally bigger and can gain weight very easily. Though it is very hard for them to lose fat they can easily build muscle.

c) Mesomorph- these are the ones who have more muscle than fat and are also able to attain a six pack the fastest.

Your diet is also a key ingredient in this equation. No matter what you do if your diet is filled with fatty foods and junk you won't see any results. A diet should contain all the vitamins and nutrients that the body needs and also foods which help develop whichever area you are lacking. It is always best to limit your servings and never eat after 7 in the night. Do a bit of research online and see what foods give the body what nutrients and work with that. Your body simply cannot gain energy to work out or do anything physical if it does not contain the necessary nutrients. For the best results I suggest that you choose a diet that does not totally eliminate food that you like but have the mind set of eating in portions so that you don't over eat. Sleep is also very important. Have a full night if sleep gives the body more energy and removes laziness which is your enemy if you want to have a six pack.

Your workout must also fit your body. You do not want to overwork yourself and end up damaging a muscle or bone. Be steadfast in your routine and work in a lot or cardio and crunches to help out your six packs. How to get a six pack? Now you know what is to be considered before you develop plan.

It is very important for an individual to learn to watch out for the warning signs that stress is already taking control of your system and you need to learn the ways to take care of your body to avoid a total breakdown.

Watch Out For The Danger Signs

Stress often starts out in our minds before it starts to show some signs on our bodies.

Keep in mind that both are linked and one will show some effects of the other. A stress-free mind is often linked to an active and healthy body, but a mind riddled with problems will surely result to a deteriorating health.

It is very important for a person to watch out for danger signs you're body is nearing the limits of its tolerance to stress. Often times, we will feel some minor aches and pains in various parts of our body when your mind is getting burdened with all the stress and problems it is subjected to. If left unchecked, it might result to sleeping and behavioral problems, lack of breath, or even a potential heart attack when it is already above the danger level.

Mentally Cope With Stress

The mind shows the first signs of stress and will later reveal itself to your emotional and physical state when left unchecked. It is essential that we learn how to calm our minds when under the throes of stress and learn to focus our thoughts in order to push the problems out and learn to relax when you need to.

This might take some effort if it's your first time to undertake stress management. But there are some techniques you can use to simplify the process and helps you learn it bit by bit. You can start by listening to your favorite music to help focus your thoughts. Try singing along with the lyrics or hum the tune to yourself to divert your attention away from your problems.

Breathing Exercise

Another method is to focus on your breathing. You can start some exercises which involves breathing in and out in specific intervals. This might take some getting used to on your first try but you will be able to focus on your breathing immediately after some practice.

Also, this exercise will ensure that your body, as well as your mind will get enough oxygen for it to function properly. We usually hyperventilate or suffer short breathing when stressed so it's best to practice some breathing exercise to help you cope with it.

Eat The Right Food To Fight Stress

It is essential that our body gets enough nutrients for it to function properly and avoid a breakdown when our mind is getting bombarded with problems. Avoid eating foods that are high in cholesterol and try to focus more on integrating a healthy lifestyle of fruits and vegetables. You might not know it, but healthy foods can also help you in dealing with stress. After all, if you're not burdened with body pains then you can focus more in helping your mind cope with it.

Stress Management Tips For Workaholics

Those who spend more time with their works tend to suffer from stress more than the other. The mental and emotional burden that is often attributed to the demands of work can affect our productivity and efficiency with our task that would often lead us to troubles than not. This is one reason why it is very important for workaholics to undertake stress management to avoid compromising their career.

You don’t have to be in a special place to apply stress management. In fact, you can do it anytime and anywhere if you feel like it. You can do it while at your work desk, in the comfort room, or even out in the lobby. The idea here is to control your mind to relax so that you can continue fresh with your task -- emotionally, physically, and mentally. Here are some tips that will surely help you out.

Tip # 1: Understand The Cause Of Your Stress

You will never be able to get rid of stress if you don’t know what's causing it. The first stress management tip you might want to apply is to determine what stressed you out. If it is the project you are working on, your boss, or with your work mates then take some time to determine what about them that gave you stress. Feel free to list them down if you want to keep track of it.

Tip # 2: Learn To Relax Your Mind

Relaxation is a very useful stress management technique. Having a clear and focused mind can help in dealing with problems even before they blow up on your faces. You can relax by doing light meditation, breathing exercise, or simply get out for a breath of fresh air. Try to stop thinking about the cause for a few minutes to clear your head.

Keep in mind that there are different ways to help you relax. You can do yoga or a deep meditation exercise during your break. If you don’t know where to start, then you can buy self-help books that detail the steps to help you get started. If you have a ready access to the Internet, feel free to look for relaxation tips online and apply it at your leisure.

Tip # 3: Indulge In After-Work Pampering

If you have some free time off from work then you might want to take advantage of this by pampering yourself in the local spa. You don’t have to undergo a complete full-body pampering treatment just to help you relax. A simple massage or aromatherapy session will do. Keep in mind that a massage can be a relaxation technique for both the mind and the body so having one during your free time will help you relax enough to face the burden of work with a fresh mind.

Make This A Daily Habit

Integrate your stress management techniques with your daily lifestyle if you want to be good at it for your self-improvement project. Doing it just because you got stressed with work is not a good way to practice stress management. You need to keep practicing your chosen method or technique until you can do it instantaneously. Learn to relax every single time when you're at work and you will surely see that no amount of bickering with your boss or noise from your workmates will stress you out.

Affiliate Marketing Tips For Newbies

February 5, 2010
Affiliate Marketing, 6 tips for on-line marketing
So, you are thinking about marketing on line, good idea.
The easiest and most profitable way to start is Affiliate Programs.
If you are willing to put a good bit of easy work into affiliate
programs you can make a comfortable living. You will not need a
college degree or anything like that. All you need is a willing
mind. The main road to success are focused dedication and a lot of
enthusiasm.
.
1. Affiliate programs may be the easiest on-line business to start
running. although it doesn't hurt to do some study so that you can
learn from other people's mistakes rather than go through them
yourself. In addition, you are likely to pick up ideas that you
wouldn't have come up with yourself. There are numerous training
products with great strategies to adopt. One of the best ways to do
this is look at what people who have used the courses are saying in
some of the popular Internet marketing forums.

2. These programs are a great way to get started in an online
business. There are some 'Super Affiliates' who are making fabulous
incomes from these programs. Affiliate programs allow you to sell
another company's service or product and make a commission on every
sale or lead. You don't even need to build a web site or handle the
transaction. Your job is to drive traffic to your affiliate link.

3. An affiliate link is a special URL code that will identify
customers coming to the company's site from your advertising. It will
be the web site address with a code attached to the end.
Some programs also have tiers. That means if someone who is interested in selling
the product comes through your link and signs up you will also get a small
percentage of their earnings.

4. To choose a program You should research the popularity of some of
your interests. Try to determine if people are buying that product or
service on-line. There are many sources for finding that information
including free ones, such as the Overture keyword tool.
When you have found an area that is popular then type the subject
along with 'affiliate program' into your search engine and see which
programs have services or products for that area. You can also use an
affiliate program directory.

5. After founding a program that looks good you should check the
terms of the program. Make sure that pay outs are not based on a high
commission earning or you may never see your money. Also try to
choose programs with high commission rates. Often you will find
ebooks and downloadable software has the highest rates as there is no
physical product to make or ship. If you are satisfied with the terms
then you need to sign up.

6. The reason affiliate programs are so great for beginners is that
you only need to focus on marketing. Many affiliate programs have
information on how to market and give you tools such as banners,
product feeds and more. You can also look for other information on
marketing including writing articles, creating pay-per-click
campaigns, commenting in online forums etc. As you gain experience
marketing you will make adjustments to your selling and start
creating a wonderful income!

Why a large number of would-be online marketers are either
unsuccessful or only partially successful is because they lack focus.
They jump from one strategy to the next without mastering any. In
affiliate marketing, the key to success is planning and focus. Take
one strategy and concentrate on it for a set period of time, maybe a
month. If it isn’t returning enough then look for an alternative
and spend time developing it.

If it is working, then look at ways of
making it even better. Most people want to 'get rich quick' on the
Internet and fail. To make real riches you need to have a strategy,
look to the longer terms and stay focused.

A Golden opportunity for You if you want to start up as an Affiliate.
